Combine rhubarb, strawberries and sugar. Place in a 9-inch square baking dish. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter, mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over rhubarb and strawberries. Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 F.) about 40 minutes or until rhubarb is tender. *NOTE: If fresh strawberries are used, increase sugar to 1/2 cup. mamadons 4 months agoThe crumble didn't... We used regular oats and everything just spread out over the top and was soft.

jillclarksonmargerison 3 years agoI made my version with mixed berries instead of just strawberries. I'm not normally picky about my crisp but this was overly runny. And I agree- wasn't crispy enough. More like a cobbler not a crisp.
