Ingredients

3 medium potatoes
2 large carrots
1 onion; sliced (or chopped)
1 boneless beef rump roast; (2 to 3 lbs)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper; (up to 1 tsp)
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup

Original recipe makes 10

Servings  

Preparation

Put vegetables in bottom of stoneware. Salt & pepper meat, then place in pot on top of vegetables. Add liquid. Cover and cook on LOW 10-12 hours.

(HIGH: 5-6 hours.)

I only give this recipe this rating because not sure about if the soup is the only liquid. Tried it the way it is wrote and after 10 hours the carrots were hard the potatoes were a little hard and the meat was dry.

Usually putting veggies first makes them mush. Why not meat first?

Hey, this recipe sounds delicious! I'm a little unclear about the instructions... is the cream of mushroom soup the only liquid?
