These could be broiled at 4 to 5 minutes per side 4 to 5 inches from heat as well.
Mix all ingredients together except lamb. Brush lamb with all ingredients and let marinate for 30 minues. Heat pan to medium/medium high (coat with olive oil) and fry lamb (hopefully 3/4 inch thickness lamb) for 3.5 to 4 minutes on each side. Pan is warm enough when water sizzles.
