Aunt Alice's Easy Rum Cake
Grease & flour a bundt pan.
Preheat oven to 325.
Combine all ingredients except the sugar, butter, water.
Bake for 1 hour. Check with skewer/toothpick after an hour and add baking time as needed.
Glaze:
Place stick butter in small pot. Add sugar and 2 TBLS water.
Cook slow until gummy.
Add rum, if desired just prior to brushing on cake.
Brush onto cooled cake.
Immediately add pecans.
Make according to above. Do NOT follow directions on cake box.
