In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and allspice. Shape into 4 oval patties. Saute beef patties in oil for 3 to 5 minutes per side. Remove from oil and keep warm. Add mushrooms to skillet; saute until golden. In small bowl, gradually beat water into flour. Stir into mushroom mixture along with catsup and remaining salt and pepper.
