Salt & fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 c Hot milk
2 Cloves garlic , minced
1 1/2 tb Flour
1 ts Basil
1 cn (14 oz) of crushed tomatoes
1/4 c Parmesan cheese (fresh)
4 tb Butter
1 ts Nutmeg

Original recipe makes 1 Servings



Melt 2 tbsp butter and saute garlic. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and basil. Simmer while preparing rest of dish. Melt remaining 2 tbsp of butter and stir in flour. Cook, stirring until thickened. Gradually add hot milk, cook and stir until thickened. Add tomato mixture and nutmeg, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V4 #9 by (JL) on Mar 12, 1999
