If you are a Velveeta lover, I'm sure this Sloppy Joe Recipe will please you. It is so good!!!

Ingredients

1 pound Lean ground beef
1 ea Green bell pepper; (finely chopped)
1 ea Onion; (finely chopped)
1/2 cup Barbecue sauce; (honey or original)
1/2 c Water
1/4 pound Velveeta; (4 oz) cut up
4 ea Hamburger buns

Preparation

PREP TIME: 5 min TOTAL TIME: 20 min

Brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add onions and peppers; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally.

Stir in water, barbeque sauce and Velveeta; cook 2 min. or until Velveeta is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.

Meanwhile, toast the buns. Fill buns evenly with the meat mixture.

VARIATION: Saucy BBQ Sloppy Janes

Substitute lean ground turkey for the ground beef.

Notes

After the meat mixture has cooled completely you can place it in resealable freezer plastic bags or freezer containers. The mixture can be frozen for up to 3 months. When ready to serve, just reheat meat mixture in a saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently.

Tasted great when it was hot....but once it cooled off it had a different flavor and was extremely salty...might try it again....dobnot season meat with salt while browning
