1/2 cup Canned Condensed Tomato Soup
2 pounds Lean ground beef
1 can (2.8 oz) Durkee French Fried Onions
1 Egg; , beaten
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
8 medium Potatoes; , cut into quarters
6 Carrots; , peeled and cut into pieces
3 large Onions; , peeled and cut into wedges
1/3 cup Ketchup
1 teaspoon Prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Brown sugar

Original recipe makes 8 Servings



Mix soup, beef, (1/2 can) onions, egg and Worcestershire sauce throrughly. In a 9x13 baking pan shape into loaf. Place potatoes, carrots and onions around meat loaf.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Stir vegetables.

Mix together ketchup, mustard and brown sugar. Spoon over meat loaf. Bake another 25 minutes or until meat loaf is done (160 degrees). Stir vegetables. Sprinkle remaining onions over meat loaf. Bake another 5 minutes or until onions are golden.

Best meatloaf I have ever tried. The sauce over the loaf & the crushed onions gave it a tang that was delicious. Each slice was juicy, had the right amount of ingredients.
