Ready in 20 minutes
Tasty all by themselves, and even better dipped into homemade hummus! So much better than store-bought, and so easy and quick to make, that you'll never buy commercial pita chips again!
Preheat oven to 400F.
Mix the garlic powder, garlic granules, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small container (there will be some left over, so a spice jar makes a good container).
One at a time, brush the pita breads with olive oil, cut into 8 wedges (same pattern as cutting a pie or a pizza).
Arrange the pita wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with the seasoning mix.
Bake in a 400F oven for 10 minutes.
Easy enough to make as a snack for yourself, and pretty enough to bring to a potluck! These are best just out of the oven (when they're still a little chewy), but they travel well too.

adacooks 4y agothis is soooo good. You could really use any seasoning you like. I did not like the oregano in their mix. The "problem" is that you **want** to eat them immediately. Use a good quality olive oil - it'll make a difference

FoodPrints 5y agoYummy! I dipped them into Guacamole and Pico de Gallo - divine! Left out the onion powder as I didn't have any, but it worked just as well.
