I have made this several times, it is the best scalloped potatoes and ham I have ever had. One of our favorites.

Very easy to prepare and the taste is delicious. I'll include to the our weekly menu.

Just wondering how this can be ready in 1 hour, as stated at the top, when the baking time alone is 1 and 1/2 hours?

I love this as a basic scalloped potatoes recipe. I omit the ham and add extra potatoes and onions. Also add garlic and definitely rosemary. Absolutely everyone loves it when made like that! Cheese on top optional but not necessary

Big hit with my boys. They loved it so much that they ate half of the dish before I could even take a picture! Big hit.

Delicious as is! My husband is a picky eater and he went back for seconds and thirds. I added this recipe to my favorites :)
