Scotcheroos are like a rice krispie treat... only better!
In a saucepan, bring to a boil sugar and corn syrup. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add rice krispies. Blend well and press into a buttered 9x13 pan. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Spread on top of rice krispies. Let cool to room temperature.

sgrishka 4y agoMy nieces absolutely loved these scotcheroos! They were quick, easy and great tasting, albeit extremely rich. Next time I would double up on the chocolate-butterscotch layer. In my opinion, it would be a better chocolate to rice krispies ratio. For the best texture, do not press the cereal layer too firmly. Leave the cereal mixture with hills and valleys and let the melted chocolate layer fill in the gaps.
