Seafood Chowder
Cooking:
In a pot add enough water to cover scallops. Boil water, then add scallops, cooking for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Cut scallops into smaller pieces. In a lg pot sauté butter, onion, bacon on med heat until onions are translucent and bacon is brown. Remove from pot and set aside. In the same pot, boil potatoes for 10-15 minutes in just enough water to cover potatoes. Do not overlook (should be firm). Once potatoes are done, do not drain. Add half and half, bacon onion mix, salt, pepper, paprika, clams, and scallops. Heat on low, stirring occasionally. Do not let boil. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally. Add additional seasoning to taste.
