2. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
3. Add thawed chicken to a large sauce pan/pot, add sauce, and heat over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 40 minutes. Skim as needed.
4. Bring to a boil again and add slurry. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes to thicken sauce.
5. Remove chicken and place in a deep serving dish. Strain and pour sauce over chicken.
