Shoyu Chicken with Rice


Ingredients

3 1/2 lbs Chicken Thighs
3/4 cup Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Honey
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 cup Water
3 cloves Garlic; Minced
2 Star Anise
2 tablespoons Sherry

Original recipe makes 4

Servings  

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a large pot.

Bring contents to boil then reduce to Medium to Medium-low heat.

Cover and simmer to 45min- 1 hour

Garnish with chopped green onions.
