Peel and de-vein shrimp and dry well. Marinate them in sherry, ginger, oil, soy sauce, and garlic for about one hour. Cook shrimp and some of the marinade in top of chafing dish, electric skillet at 350 degrees or ordinary skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes or until they turn pink. Serve with toothpicks.
