Attractive and tasty variation on the traditional Shrimp Scampi.
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet. Add scallions, garlic, and shrimp. Saute until shrimp just turn pink. Add vermouth, cilantro, and lemon juice and heat through. Serve over angel hair pasta and top with freshly grated parmesan or romano cheese.
Nice variation on the traditional scampi.

pols005 2y agoI don't like shrimp so I actually substituted fake crab. Yum! I did add some salt and fresh cracked pepper also.
Jackiechan042003 2y agoOh my! This was sooo freaking good! Made it tonight for our Valentine's Day dinner and we cleared our plates! I sprinkled a little salt and pepper on the shrimp as they were cooking and used wine and lime juice :)

skroseberg 2y agoWow is this delicious! I encourage everyone who likes shrimp to try this. I started with precooked shrimp. One of the best dishes I've ever made.
magcurlee 3y agoLoved it!!! It's so creamy and yummy. And a little dash of pepper doesn't take away from the flavor.
