Great to make with kids, especially as cupcakes. Very simple and easy.

"I love this cake! It's very easy, and tastes amazing! I have made it three or four times now and will continue making it because my whole family loves them and requests my 'special cupcakes' very often. Thanks for the great recipe!"

I tried this recipe and the cake was very dense and dry, Thankfully I can make some kick ass buttercream frosting. Very disappointed oh well time to try a better recipe

Made as cupcakes, and I thought this came out ok, just a lot heavier than expected. Perhaps using cake flour rather than regular flour would make a difference? I'll try again in the future.

Added half the vanilla and replaced the rest with strawberry syrup. Still working on it but tasted good with fresh homemade cream cheese frosting

Make a frosting with 1/2 c softened butter (not melted!) And 1 1/2 c powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and 2 Tbsp strawberry jam. FANTASTIC TOPPING! My kids LOVED them!
