Slow Cooker Bread Pudding

3 md Eggs; beaten
3 1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3 cups bread cubes
3/4 cup Brown sugar; packed
1/2 cup Raisins

Original recipe makes 4 Servings



Combine all ingredients, making sure bread is thoroughly wet.

Spray inside of crockpot with cooking spray; pour bread mixture in crockpot.

Cover; cook on High for 3 to 4 hours or until knife inserted into the middle comes out clean.

I don't see the amount of bread or type of bread I need for the recipe

I doubled the recipe, substituted 2 cans of Coconut milk for 2 cups of regular milk, added 3 over ripe bananas and about half a cup of shredded coconut. Cooked it about an extra hour. Everyone couldn't eat enough of it...

I made this as is and it turned out delicious. Next time though I will add more cinnamon and maybe add some pecans for some crunch.

Horrible! I added more bread to this and it still was very wet.. not good at all!

I doubled the amount of bread and it was still too watery. I tasted good though .
