Rub chicken pieces with spices, place breast in cooker top with thighs. Add vegetables, whisk together soup and broth and pore over. Cook on high for 4 hours. Remove chicken debone and shred and return to cooker and cook an additional hour.
Prepare Dumplings.
Whisk together flour and dry ingredients and make a well in center. Add milk butter and thyme and storing gently until just moist. Dorp 1/4 sized balls into cooker and cook for 30 to 35 minutes additional.
