Cumberland Pie
Fry the mince in the slow cooker in oil until brown then set aside.
Add the vegetables to the slow cooker and fry until soft around 20 mins.
Add the tomato paste and flour to the vegetables and fry for a further 10 mins.
Add the mince to the vegetables and mix thoroughly.
Add the wine, beef stock, soy sauce, beef stroganof mix, salt and pepper and mix in to coat the meat.
Bring to a boil and then put to simmer slowly for at least 4 hours stirring occasionally.
Peel and boil the potatoes until soft and then mash the potatoes adding butter and hot milk mixing till smooth.
Layer the mince and vegetables in a large dish that will go in the oven.
Pipe or spread the mashed potato onto the mince and peak with a fork.
Spread the grated cheese and breadcrumbs on top of the potato and brush lightly with oil.
Put in the oven for around 30 minutes to the top is golden brown.
