This is a recipie that my grandmother used to make.


Ingredients

Are you making this? 
1 lb chicken breats
1 1/2 cups green bell pepper; chopped
1 medium onion; chopped
2 celery stalks; sliced
4 garlic cloves; minced
1 can whole tomatoes; use 14 ounce can, coarsely chopped
1/3 cup tomato paste
2 cups chicken stock
1 tablespoon parsley
1 tablespoon fresh basil; minced
1 teaspoon dry oregano
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup cooked red chili beans; drained and rinsed
1 1/2 cups long grain rice; cooked
14 cups large shrimp; shelled

Original recipe makes 6 Servings

Preparation

Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.

Place all ingredients, except for beans, rice, and shrimp, in a slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Add beans, rice, and shrimp during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
