Ready in 9 hours
Delicious - serve with potatoes and vegetable.
Rub roast with garlic. Brown on all sides in pan with olive oil. Mix brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and cinnamon and rub all over roast. Place in crock pot with 2 cups of water. Cook on low 7-9 hours.
Plinko85 1y agoThis was excellent. I needed it done sooner than 7 hours, so I cooked it in the oven at 350F for 2.5 hours. Our menu was Roast, with Rice on the side and Cole Slaw. This is a keeper recipe.
enciejonassuper 1y agoI used the 1/3 cup brown sugar that someone suggested. It was delicious. Meat was well done and juicy. Will use this recipe again and again

cherylkosec 1y agoI made this tonight and it was out of this world. I had to alter the recipe a bit though. I used just 1 cup of the brown sugar, stone ground mustard and rice wine vinegar. Next time I wouldn't add as much water either. About 2 hours before it was done I added a can of sauerkraut, sliced apples and onion. The sauerkraut picked up the flavors of the seasonings in the juice.
deannahart100 1y agoGreat flavor! I used the 1 1/3 cup brown sugar, I will cut that back next time.
magnus777 2y agoI liked it.
rsharkman 2y agoThe pork came out incredible. We added parsnips about halfway through and they absorbed the juices and added even more flavor
briandianecasselmeehan 3y agoMy family loved. I used 1/3 c of brown sugar and minced 3 cloves of garlic instead of rubbing it with garlic.

Sexyscubadiver 3y agoIt was amazing. Didn't use as much brown sugar. Wasn't sweet. Was just perfect. Thank you for sharing this
