1. Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours. Note: the actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker.
2 .Drain well. Stir in barbecue sauce. Serve over hamburger buns.
ksand 3w agoSo easy and tasty! I slow-cooked a 2# pork loin for 6 1/2 hours, then removed most of the fat and put it in a skillet on med-high for a few minutes each side to brown up the outside and add some additional texture before shredding. Sticky Fingers Carolina sauce was the perfect complement. Sooo good.
spacemom1 5m agoOnly so so. Since you pour off the liquid, you don't really get the root beer flavor. I would just make a standard tenderloin in the oven next time.

dgmacintyre 2y agoThis is as delicious as it is easy! Three ingredients, how could it go wrong? I also used Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce. Everyone loved it. This is a keeper, thanks for posting!
Millerjason 3y agoSo easy to make! The only thing I changed was the amount of BBQ sauce. We used a pork tenderloin (from a pack of 5) and added the BBQ sauce to smaller portions of the pulled pork and my kids find BBQ sauce too spicy. Very tasty! We also added coleslaw on top of the pork.
