Brown the beef in a large skillet and drain off fat.
Place the cooked beef and the rest of the ingredients in a crock pot.
Add two (28 oz) cans of water and stir.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. If needed, stir in extra water before serving.

ResistanceIsFertile 5 months agoWas a hit. I used beef broth instead of water, added some worchester and corn as well. Serve with warm fluffy biscuits so you can soak up what remains in the bowl.
KimM79 11 month agoI don't know if it was the brand of rice I used but this turned out a pile of mush. The taste was good but it was more like mush casserole than a soup. I was disappointed but will try again with another brand of long grain rice.
Danisaj 1 year agoMine came out a little to thick , probably cause I used real tomatoes.... But I was awesome anyway. I also added a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce .
nicolegory 2 years agoSooo good!!!!!! I used barley instead of rice, beef broth instead of water, and cooked it stovetop. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly and I absolutely love it!!!!!

bunnycook86 2 years agoI used red, yellow, orange and green bell peppers. I also used ground turkey and added some fresh mushrooms. It was easy to make and tasted delicious!

taffyd1 2 years agoIt tasted good. The rice was still crunchy after 6 hours.
