Slice baguette thinly. Evenly space on cookie sheet which has been covered with aluminum foil. Drizzle with olive oil. Toast in the oven until just brown.
Remove from oven, and place 1-inch square chunks of smoked salmon on each.
Meanwhile mix lemon juice in with cream cheese, then stir in chopped dill. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fill piping bag (or pastry syringe) with cream cheese and top each crostini with dab of flavored cream cheese. Add chopped chives for garnish.
Very easy to make, and presentation is wonderful. Keeps for a few hours at room temperature, making it a great passed hors d''oerve.
