Brought a big pot to a church event and the pot was licked clean.

"Loved this soup for a cold winters day. Added some fresh ground pepper to spice it up a little and will pull back on the bacon to cut calories next time around, but loves it! Can't wait for leftovers!"

I added carrots and omitted the sausage (because I didn't have any) and it was an instant favorite in my house. My husband loves it

A winner! Delicious, easy, pretty quick, inexpensive. Used Oscar Mayer Smokie Links, now back by popular demand!

Delicious! Even my picky eaters loved this dish, I will definitely add this to my list of things to make again! I used Turkey Bacon and it turned out great.

This was a perfectly fine recipe. I found myself wanting a little more variety in the flavors, but it's a good, basic meat & potatoes sort of dish as is. I would tend to agree with previous reviewers than it seems a bit thin for a chowder, maybe needs thickening up a bit.

Delicious. Served with gourmet grilled cheeses and it was a hit.

I liked it a lot. I added some corn starch to thicken it up a bit. It is even better as leftovers.

I love the soup. My tastebuds were singing with joy. My Dad followed the recipe except he added a little milk to thin the broth. Thank you for this recipe.
