Cinnamon/Sugar Cookies
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars with a mixer on high speed. Add the egg and vanilla and beat til smooth. In another bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix well. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Let dough rest in the fridge for 30-60 minutes. In a small bowl mix an additional 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to roll dough into. Take about 2 1/2 teaspoons of dough, roll into a ball and press cookie onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
*Add a Rolo candy in the middle for a caramel chocolate surprise.
