Suggest a better descriptionBrown fat back in skillet. Remove from pan. Add water, salt, pepper, butter, sugar and butter beans. Let simmer and place fat back on top. Cook 45 to 60 minutes on medium heat. Then add okra and cook 30 minutes more. Stir occasionally. Serves 4 to 6. Posted to recipelu-digest by "Diane Geary"
