Suggest a better descriptionBring 3 cups water to a boil; add tea bags. Boil 1 minute, then remove from heat, cover, and steep 10 minutes.
Discard tea bags. Add sugar & stir until dissolved. Pour 7 cups cold water in a large pitcher and pour tea mixture into pitcher. Serve over ice.
Garnish with fresh mint sprigs, lime wedges, or lemon/orange slices.
Note: May freeze tea in ice cube tray, and use that instead of regular ice cubes to prevent diluting the tea. Also, may serve simple syrup on the side for sweeter version (1 cup sugar/1 cup water, boiled & cooled).
