Suggest a better descriptionSet oven to 400 degrees. Line pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Process 1/2 of one onion and 2 cloves of garlic until very fine. Put onion and garlic into large mixing bowl. Add egg, milk, breadcrumbs and three seasonings. Stir well. Add meat and stir until well mixed. Scoop 1/4 cup of mixture and break into two balls. Form balls gently and place on pan. Bake for fifteen minutes.
While meatballs are baking, add two table spoons of olive oil to a large pot and heat over medium fire. Add 1-1/2 diced onion, 3 minced cloves of garlic, 1/4 bell pepper quartered, 1/2 tablespoon each of salt, pepper, Toni's, and dried oregano to onion mixture. Cook until onions are clear. Add tomato paste and continue cooking, letting paste stick to pan. Scrape every few minutes. Add 4 cans of tomato sauce plus two cans of water to rinse cans. Scrape pot and stir. Add meatballs and cook for one hour, stirring every ten minutes.
