My family loves this much better than plain spaghetti... it's cheesy and delicious!

"This was awesome! I made some modifications to your recipe. We don't care for mushrooms, so I substituted onion and bell pepper. I also added a little sugar and some crushed red pepper to the sauce mixture. I mixed the parmesan cheese in with the sauce instead of using it for a topping. We will be having this one often!"

Ingredients

Are you making this?
8 ounce Spaghetti; cooked
2 pound Ground beef; lean, cooked
28 ounce Spaghetti Sauce; regular or spicy
4 ounce Canned mushrooms stems and pieces; drained
4 cups Mozzarella; shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese; grated

Original recipe makes 6

Servings

Preparation

Mix cooked spaghetti, cooked ground beef, spaghetti sauce and the mushrooms all together. Spread in a greased 13x9-inch baking dish and sprinkle with the cheeses.

Bake uncovered at 350? F. for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Notes

This dish is definitely better than regular spaghetti with meat sauce. I prefer to use spicy spaghetti sauce in place of regular sauce for added zing! Chopped green bell peppers may also be added.

Easy to make and delicious. I omitted the mushrooms, cut down on cheese and it still came out amazing!

My husband loved it... I thought it had too much cheese and not enough flavor. I would only do 2 cups of cheese and add a spicy sauce and some tomato paste.

Super easy. I modified recipe a bit. I used two 10 oz. jars of Spaghetti Sauce, 1 lb. hamburger. I omitted mushrooms and 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese because I didn't have it on hand. My husband raved about the recipe! I too thought it was great! Quick for those families who are on the go.
