Coat bottom op pot with olive oil, add pork, cloves, small amount of salt & peper & brown pork. Remove pork from pot. Add to pot tomato paste, water, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, sugar, salt, pepper & mix well. Add pork to pot on end with opening at bottom & cook at medium heat (low is sauce sticks) for 3 hours - Check & Stir constantly. At the end of 3 hours remove pork and put in a warm oven. Add meatballs to pot (see Meatball Recipe). After 5 minutes add 1/2 lb of ground beef broken-up. Cook 1 hour with stirring.
