Saute onion, green pepper & garlic with 1 pound Italian sausage or hamburger.
Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
If too runny, add more tomato paste.
If too thick, add more wine or tomatoes.
Freezes well.
