A tomato sauce which can be used almost everywhere!! It can be used in pizzas, when serving spaghetti and even when you want to cook something but you are tired of the old ways like with oil or water and you want something with a unique flavor.
1. In a medium size ovenproof pan add the olive oil, onion and garlic and fry them until they soften on a low heat.
2. Add the oregano and cumin and stir well.
3. Add the canned tomato juice and the tomato juice from the fresh tomatoes until a well combined mixture is formed.
4. When it starts boiling add the seasoning - basil, mint, salt and black pepper and leave for about another 3-5 minutes (until it starts boiling again) and then remove from heat.
