Take a crack at enriching your weekday meals with this one-bowl Asian supper that the whole family will enjoy, its just perfect for sitting in front of the telly with a chilled beer.
Place the steak in a bowl and coat with half of the teriyaki marinade set aside.
In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil, cook the steak in batches for 2 to 3 minutes until brown, transfer to a plate, and put to one side.
Add the remaining oil to the pan, then half the spring onions, the garlic, chilli and ginger and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the broccoli and peppers and stir-fry for 3 minutes, then add the remaining teriyaki marinade.
Cook for a further two to three minutes. Return the steak to the pan and stir in half the basil. Serve topped with the remaining spring onion and basil leaves, with steamed jasmine rice, noodles, or just plain boiled rice on the side.
