Super quick, easy and delicious

"I loved the spice of the red pepper flakes mixed with the sweetness of the olive oil dressing for the pasta. I added a little more red pepper than suggested, since I love spicy food... It was so spicy that I cried like a little girl. Definitely stick with the 1/2 tsp. I liked that it was really quick. The part that took the longest was waiting for the pasta to boil."


Ingredients

Are you making this? 
0.5 pound pasta of your choice
1 pound shrimp; deveined and peeled
1 tablespoon garlic infused olive oil (or regular olive oil)
1 Olive oil cooking spray
2 cloves Garlic; minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary; minced
0.5 tsp red pepper flakes or to taste (1 tsp is fairly spi
1 Salt and pepper to taste
1 small lemon; cut in half

Preparation

Boil pasta per package directions to al dente. While it is cooking, prepare shrimp.

Heat a large skillet over moderate heat, then add olive oil and garlic and cook briefly, until golden. Add shrimp, then sprinkle with rosemary and pepper flakes. Cook, stirring, until just cooked through, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

When pasta is ready, drain and immediately spray lightly but evenly with olive oil cooking spray, tossing to coat. Portion into dishes and top with shrimp. Squeeze lemon juice over top and serve.

This turned out pretty bland for me. I had to add a bit of Alfredo sauce to punch it up. Next time I will follow instructions to use fresh rosemary. My dried herbs gave it a hard grassy texture

I don't know what I did wrong. The flavors are nice, but my pasta was bland and dry. I used fettuccine. Maybe that was the problem.

It was very good .instead of me using salt and pepper I use Cajun seasoning and it was very good. All my husband could say 'why couldn't you had gotten more shrimp'?! I loved this recipe and I would cook it again..Thanks
