Shrimp sauteed with garlic, hot pepper flakes and sherry.
In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, bay leaves and red-pepper flakes and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Raise the heat to high and add the shrimp to the pan and stir to combine. Cook quickly, stirring until the shrimp are done, 4 to 5 minutes. Do not overcook or shrimp become tough and chewy. Stir in the sherry, lemon juice, and parsley, heat through for one minute and serve immediately.
