"I would leave out the black pepper until the end and crack it over the top. Also, instead of tossing everything in vinaigrette, just toss strawberries and put them on top of dry spinach with a small drizzle over the top. Otherwise it feels a bit over dressed. Very yummy!!"- Sleepygorilla

kate_gerhardt_badouin 2 weeks agoReally love this salad but second time I added some hand crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese. The cool silky cheese balances the spicy pepper vinegarette.

dakotarussell 1 year agoGreat dish for when the weather's getting warm. Exactly what you want to be tasting this time of year. Looking forward to making it a few more times this summer.
thelittlemissmolly 1 year agoLove the dressing! It is great with strawberries. I added roasted pecans, mozzarella cheese, bacon and sea salt. Super side salad for a heavy main course. Thanks for posting!

DoubleChin 2 years agoAdded chicken and almonds for the husband. Used Cholula chile lime, just a dash and the cayenne pepper just a sprinkle and it was not too hot or spicy and followed the recipe as is and LOVED IT. Something new to pack in the lunches.
tinabean2 2 years agoThis is soooo delicious. It is also extremely HOT ...next time i am thinking of substituting something for the cayenne...open to suggestions.
