Ready in 40 minutes

This is a restaurant style spinach artichoke dip that I found. I made it for a party as an appetizer and it was a hit. Now everytime I go to a party, they ask me to make this dip (or for the recipe) EXCELLENT!!

"While it was good, it seemed to be missing something for flavor it just did not have zing! It was very creamy, and cheesy, easy to make. But seemed a bit bland. I will try it again but will add some spices for more flavor. Most dips I have had when dining out seem to have something that is a distinctive flavor making it just seem awesome. Do take into consideration that my family and me seem to like things a little spicy."

4 tablespoon Garlic
1 10-oz Package Frozen Spinach; thawed and drained
1 14-oz Can Artichoke hearts; drained and chopped
1 10-oz Jar Alfredo Style Pasta Sauce
1 cup Mozzarella; shredded
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese; grated
4 ounces Cream cheese; softened

Original recipe makes 8

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In an 8x8 inch baking dish, spread the garlic, spinach, artichoke hearts, Alfredo-style pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and cream cheese.

Cover and bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until cheeses are melted and bubbly. Serve warm.

I added the soup mix as some suggested but a full envelope made it too salty. Also, I used 2 tbs garlic and it was still too much.

I used a bacon flavored alfredo sauce. My husband says it's the best thing he's ever put in his mouth!

I tried this recipe without the artichokes. I dont like artichokes. I also added real bacon bits, heavy whipping creme instead of alfredo sauce and i added pepper jack cheese. It was pretty good. This is my first time making spinach dip.
