Top-ranked recipe named "Squirrel's Dorito Taco Salad"
Many years back, about 26, I worked at The Frosty Jug. A car hop restaurant in Dickson, Tennessee. It's gone now. But I was a cook there. I came up with this & Mable Crutis put it on the menu. It was a big hit, could not make them fast enough.
"This is now in my favorites folder! Next time I am putting the chips on the side instead of on the bottom. It was good that way but some of the chips got a little soggy. That did not really matter though because it was so good and it was very easy to make."- donrichardson
Brown meat add seasoning follow package directions.
Heat up chilie on stove or microwave.
Let every body grab a plate to build thier own salad.
Start with chips, lettuce, meat, chilie, onions, tomatoes, sauce, sour cream, then cheese. Can make as big or small as each wants.

BoyzOma 4 years agoI love this. The only changes I make are warm Kidney Beans instead of the chili and I also make some guacamole to go with it.
