Quick and delicious steelhead trout
Set an electric skillet to 375(F) degrees and coat with a little olive oil.
Coat the fish with a thin layer of olive oil. Coat the fleshy side of the fish with pepper and garlic salt.
Put the fish on the skillet with the flesh side down.
Cook until the fish has turned opaque half way through and flip over. Then cook until there is a sliver of red/pink in the center and pull it off the skillet. The fish will continue to cook all the way through.
I typically serve this with green beans/asparagus and bread.
I prefer to cook the fish outside to avoid the fishy smell inside. Do be sure you get steelhead trout and not any other type. Steelhead is a much larger variety of trout, resembling salmon.
