Asian style crispy wing.Submitted by Annette


2 dried red chilis
3 cloves garlic; smashed
3 (1 inch pieces) fresh ginger
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1/4 cups soy sauce
1/2 cups Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Corn Syrup
3 lbs chicken wings
1/2 cups corn starch; seasoned with salt & pepper
Oil; for frying wings
3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoons canola oil

Original recipe makes 4 Servings



Heat canola oil in frying pan over medium.Add chili,garlic & ginger.Saute about 5min.,then remove seasonings from oil. Add rice wine vinegar,soy,brown sugar & corn syrup.heat to boil for 1 min.,turn off heat,sauce will thicken.

Toss chicken wings in seasoned corn starch.Tap off excess corn starch. Pan fry wings in 1" oil till really crispy 7-8 min..Drain. toss wings with sauce & sprinkle with sesame seeds .Chopped scallions are good tossed on too.

Have lots of napkins & a good cold beverage at the ready.Enjoy

Amazing! Even if I didn't have the exact ingredients and used substitutes it turned out delicious. I will definitely make this again.
