2 cans Crushed Pineapple
1 box Yellow Cake Mix Duncan
1 Pie Filling Strawberry Comstock
2 cups Walnuts/Pecans

Original recipe makes 8

Servings  

Preparation

Pre-heat Oven at 350

Spray 10 X 13 Pan with PAM

Pour Pineapple

Pour Pie Filling

Cover evenly with Cake Mix and Pat down a bit

Pour Nuts

Put in Oven for 45 Minutes

Let cool for 15 minutes

Saying pat down a bit does not cut it. The cake was powder on top after cooking. Had to basically stir it up and cook ten minutes longer. Will try again.

I make this with cherry pie filling and omit the nuts. A very easy and delicious recipe! It reminds me of a fancy cobbler.
