1/4 c Parmesan
1/4 c Bread crumbs
1 lb Top round steak; sliced thin
4 tb Parsley; chopped
Salt and pepper
4 tb Butter
olive oil
2 cloves Garlic; chopped
1 md Onion; sliced
1 c Red wine; or tomato sauce

Original recipe makes 4



Spread steak with butter and layer onions on top. Sprinkle remaining ingredients evenly over steak. Roll up tightly and tie securely. Brown on all sids in hot olive oil, turn often so it does not burn. Lower heat, add winei or tomato sauce. Cover and cook slowly until fork tender, about 1 hour. Nice flavour, the wife says I can make it again. I added a little extra garlic and cooked it in the wine, next time I will try the tomato sauce or maybe a combination of wine and tomato sauce
