Stuffed Strawberries

A easy and simple bite sized dessert.


24 large strawberries; hulls removed
12 ounces cream cheese; at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla; (can substitute with orange or almond)
3 tablespoons confectioners sugar
1/2 lb dark chocolate flakes

Original recipe makes 24 Servings



Place cream cheese in a bowl, and microwave for 30 seconds, so that it's soft.

Whip together the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar.

In the center of each strawberry, using a sharp knife, make a hole in each one, as deep as you can without going out the bottom.

Spoon or pipe the filling into each hole.

Dip cheesecake end of strawberry into chocolate flakes making sure you completely cover the cheesecake filling with chocolate

(another twist is to dip them in melted chocolate/white chocolate and then nuts)

Lay strawberries in a pretty serving dish.

Sprinkle with any leftover chocolate

Chill, and serve.

Delicious! The cream cheese mix needed more powdered sugar, an easy change. I dipped them in white chocolate & everyone LOVED them! Great recipe!

I loved these. They came together quickly, though I would serve them the same day, my berries became a bit mushy after a day in the fridge.

I make these ALL THE TIME. Just make sure you use Philadelphia Cream Cheese (not low fat) or they wont taste right. Sometimes more powdered sugar is needed.
