Delicious and easy recipe for a cookie press OR cookie cutters.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cream butter and sugar with mixer or egg beaters.
Beat in egg, milk and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder.
With a spatula, mix flour and baking powder with creamed mixture.
If you're using a cookie press, there is no need to chill. Place dough into cookie press and press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet (add sprinkles if desired). Bake for about 7 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.
If you will be using cookie cutters or just rolling the dough into balls, chill in fridge for about 45 minuutes. Once chilled, roll dough into balls and flatten with a fork. Or, roll out to about 1/4 of an inch and use cookie cutters. Bake for about 7 minutes, or until edges are lightly brown.
