"OMG the curry dip is awesome. My husband and I go to Melting Pot Fondue restaurant a few times a year and they have a curry dip to die for, we always joke that if I ever learned how to make it I would eat it on everything. THIS TASTES JUST LIKE IT!!! I will use just a tad less salt and chili powder next time but it is almost right on!! It HAS to sit overnight to get the best flavor. Thanks for a great recipe!!"

Vegetable oil
2/3 c Mayonnaise
1 ts Ground ginger
1/2 ts Tumeric powder
1/2 ts Chili powder
1 tb Curry powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Sweet hungarian paprika
4 large yams
1/3 c Plain yogurt

Original recipe makes 30

In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and yogurt. Stir in spices and salt. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight. Makes 1 cup. Immediately before serving, scrub potatoes and cut lengthwise into quarter to half inch slices. Cut slices into french fry shapes. Place on baking sheets and drizzle with oil, tossing to coat. Spread in a single layer and season lightly with salt. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with curry dip. Fries were good but needed much more time to cook.

LOVED these! Made an appetizer tray and these were on it with some other fried things. Fantastic!

Great dip with the fries! i baked fries for 30 min. Hubby, myself & kids (10&14) loved it!

The sauce was delicious and most people I served it to added it to their burger. It was great! The fries take way more time than 25 minutes to get them crispy like most like. Plan on 45-1 hour.

The fries were burnt and floppy. The sauce was super yummy. I used Greek yogurt so it was too rich and thick but still super yummy!

Dip was alright. It was nice to try this out but would never make this again.

Yummy. I substituted Geek yogurt and that made it too rich. The potatoes needed 30 minutes in my oven. Still tasty!

The fries were a little floppy but tasted great, as did the dip

My family really loves this. I plan on using this curry mayonnaise with roasted cauliflower also.
