A Swiss family tradition!
Rub inside of ceramic fondue pot with peeled and crushed garlic.
Add wine and cornstarch and heat (do not boil).
Over medium heat, add grated cheese in small handfuls, stirring contstantly until melted.
Add Kirshwasser and continue to heat and stir for two more minutes.
Dust with nutmeg and place on fondue warmer.
Serve with bread slices, salad and a light dry white wine. Apple pie is also a traditional dessert!
