It is hard to tell the difference between this seasoning and the bought brand. I react to MSG so I use this exclusively now. Enjoy!


1 tablespoon Cornstarch
2 teaspoons Chili powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Sugar
3/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon cubes; crushed
1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon Cumin

Original recipe makes 1



measure all ingredients into a ziploc bag, seal. shake well to combine.

To Use:

Prepare the fajitas using the same directions found on the package of the original

seasoning mix :

BROWN ground beef or strips of chicken breats; Add chopped onions and green pepper and cook till softened.

Add seasoning mix and 3/4 cup of water. Bring to a boil;

reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

HEAT taco shells or tortillas as directed on package.

SERVE bowls of seasoned ground beef, lettuce, tomato,cheese sour cream and your favourite guacamole with tortillas or taco shells

Very close to the real thing! I love this recipe and will be adding it to my 'favorites' list. I let the chicken boil for 1-2 minutes before turning it down to a simmer. This allowed the sauce to thicken making the perfect consistency when finished.

Sorry but not good. It was too soupy, not like any fajitas I have ever seen and the ingredients tasted horrible. Not a recipe to try, it would be a waste of the chicken. Sorry, but that's what I thought about it.
