Suggest a better descriptionBrown ground beef and onion, if desired, in a skillet, drain. Mix in taco seasoning as directed on package and stir well. Add instant rice, tomatoes and 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil and reduce heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until rice is tender. Spray bottom and sides of a 9 x 9 baking dish. Layer bottom of dish with 1/2 of beef and rice mixture. Sprinkle top with 1 cup cheese. Layer with rest of beef mixture, cheese and top with crushed chips. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted.
